Welcome to our online petition system. Here you can add your name to an existing petition or you can create a new one.
Taking part in or creating a petition is one way individuals, community groups and organisations can get involved in what the council does. It allows people to raise issues of public concern, giving councilors the opportunity to consider the need for change.
Anyone who lives, works or studies in Bristol can sign or create a petition. There is no age limit - children and young people can also take part in or create a petition.
To set up a new petition, you must be a registered user within the e-petitions website. Click the 'Add A Petition' link on this page and follow the instructions on screen.
To sign a petition, click the 'View Petitions' link on this screen. You will then see all current petitions. Click on the petition you are interested in and you will see information about the topic. If you want to sign, complete the details requested and click 'Submit my signature'.
Also, read the Bristol City Council Petition Scheme - which describes the arrangements for submitting petitions to the council.
